These are some pictures I took in an evening on the Santa Monica State Beach. Although many critiques describe the Nexus 5’s camera as mediocre, I was quite impressed at what one can get out of it with the help of HDR and some tuning. Unfortunately, Google Camera’s HDR+ mode does lead to a loss of detail.
