The plane ride from Beijing to Los Angeles was phenomenal. Physically, it took 13 hours of my life, but politically, I traveled 2 hours back in time. It was noon, August 25th when I left, and it was again noon, August 25th when I arrived. Time zones can be annoying, but they can also be fun.
